Overwind's projects

I write code for pretty much anything that compiles, and apparently for Brazilian payroll law too. Most of it runs in your browser and reads your files on your own machine: no account, no upload, no "we value your privacy" banner, because there is nothing to value.

me when the tests pass on the first run (they didn't)

In the browser

Open the page, drop a file, done. Each one keeps working offline after the first visit.

nokudos showing a year of routes as a heatmap with distance and time totals

nokudos

Turns a Strava or Garmin data export into a year in review: every route on one map, totals, personal bests from the GPS tracks and a card to post.

Strava wanted a subscription for this. I wanted a weekend project.

readrecap listing the books finished in a year, with hours read and a reading calendar

readrecap

Reads the stats database of a Kobo or of KOReader and shows your reading year: books finished, hours, streaks, the time of day you read.

Also confirms that you started 31 books and finished 4.

songlift matching Spotify playlists against a music folder, with found, maybe and missing songs

songlift

Moves your Spotify playlists and liked songs to Navidrome, Jellyfin or M3U files, straight from your Spotify data export. No Spotify API involved.

Spotify limited its API to five users. The export has no such opinion.

Brazilian severance calculator form with salary, dates and notice period

Brazilian severance calculator

How much you get when you leave a job under Brazil's CLT, for every kind of termination including fixed-term contracts, with 2026 social security and income tax already taken out. Your salary never leaves the browser.

For checking HR's math before you sign, not after.

cnpj-alfa-scan listing the lines of a code sample that break with alphanumeric CNPJ

cnpj-alfa-scan

Brazil's CNPJ gets letters in July 2026, and a lot of code still stores it as a number. This finds the BIGINT columns, parseInt calls and \d{14} checks first.

Cheaper than finding out in production.

Libraries and servers
